Late comment on the post I know... But I had to tell you, hopefully you will appreciate it... I was never a big fan of The Beatles... Until recently... I rented a movie the other night, and I can't get the music out of my head... If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it... Across the Universe... I equate it with Momma Mia... They've made a movie around The Beatles music... Set in the 60's, with a modern feel... The singing is done by the main characters, and their voices are amazing... especially the "Jimi Hendrix" character and of course Jude (main character) are among my favorites... Bono, Eddie Izzard, Joe Cocker make appearances and sing as well... It's an amazing movie... If you have already seen it, disregard all of the above... ;)

Love from Atlanta

Steve says, "First of all, it's so great to hear from you. Secondly, I do know about the movie, and it is awesome I saw a bootleg version of it!"

I'd say it is evenly split between John and Paul. For every snore of a song that each had ("When I'm 64" and yes, "Hey Jude" ) there was absolute brilliance. Their collaboration on "A Day in the Life" was unsurpassed.

Solo works - Lennon alone. Paul was WUSSY. "Let Him In"?????
