A Fact About Steve #4

I can be a klutz.  A perfect example was this:

I grabbed my coffee mug and ran for the ringing phone.  As I was heading down the hallway, from the kitchen, to the family room; my hand brushed up against the brick wall.  The mug shattered in my hand.  I’m not sure what hurt more:  The shards of ceramic which led to five stitches, or the piping-hot java, spilling all over my bleeding hand?

I'm a klutz.

many of us want to know how big your hands are…
but the klutz thing is universal. i know very few people who don’t find themselves in the klutziest situations because they are not thinking about what they are doing. or is that just me???? hnmmm

Steve says, “With me, it’s a distraction thing. When I have a lot on my mind, I tend to get more klutzy.”

  7. javabear Says:

Is klutzy the same thing as messy? It seems every thing I do I end up making some kind of mess. I spill a lot of stuff.
Hope the hand heals quickly. :)

Steve says, “I’d say that klutzy and messy can be similar.”

  8. Steve Rebooted Says:

I got a couple of emails regarding this and now realize that this post was phrased, poorly. This is an event which happened in the past. I used it as an example of my klutzy tendencies. I changed the wording to make it a little clearer. I joked around that first stitches, then cheekbone, but didn’t think how confusing that may’ve been. Oh, well. Sue me for being an unclear blogger :P
