Crazy Busy Hiatus ♥√♣

Crazy Time of YearToday marks 2 years since I started “Defying Despondency.”  I began on blogger and transferred to WordPress in January, 2007.  And this anniversary seems like a good day to go on hiatus.  The real world is too demanding, right now.  Honestly, I haven’t decided if I’ll return to this blog, or start fresh (on a new site).  Either way, I’ll email my regulars, and let ya know.  But don’t fret too much.  I’ll still be commenting on blogs (when I have the time).

Update on June 2nd:  My long hours are now over for about 3 weeks.  Re-locating will most likely occur, during this break.

Update on June 3rd:  The detectives came by with photos.  They had nabbed someone.  I was 100% positive about a guy in the composite.  Only to be told that it wasn’t who they’d caught.  I told them, “I am certain about this person.”  They said to me, “Well, this gives us a good idea of what we’re looking for.  Will you be in town over the next week?

I certainly understand your need for a blog-break, but that doesn’t make me happy about it. I’ll miss your posts. I will, however, look for you on my blog! :)

    Steve says, “I’ll be around.”

I miss you already, pardner. I don’t want this to way heavy on your conscience, but Uncle Zoloft will have me in a cage and using a cattle prod on my ass until you return. Hurry back, please!

Steve says, “You’ll be loving it!”

  5. Dead Robot Says:

Add me to that list please! I hope your hiatus is short (because I hate my job and need constant distraction).

And I like your stuff! Come back soon!

Steve says, “I’ll keep ya posted. I just need to decompress the real world, right now.” :P

  6. Uncle Zoloft Says:

    NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Steve says, “Some rest sounds good.”

  8. Doug Says:

Hope you get back soon, in one form or another. I will miss you but will look out for your new (or old) blog!

Steve says, “I’m actually getting ready to meet who you’ve been hanging with. Haven’t even met you, Doug. And you live like a mile or so from me! This is about as big of a stink as I’ll make about this coffee meet. While I’m delighted over the encounter, broadcasting it in paragraph after paragraph of monologue, is so not me. All’s I know is that my family will freak out (meeting strangers from the internet) when they read this comment. I’ll never hear the end of it. Well, gotta go. She just called, and it looks like I’m getting a ride in her famous truck.” :P

  9. Indigo Says:

Hey guy! I heard we have a mutual friend — Doris (Java). she is SUCH a cool person. Oh.. and I am the *real* Indigo, heh heh. My partner, Doug, works in Pikesville at the library. We should hang out sometime.

Steve says, “Well, I’ve conversed with Doug, knew he had an other half, but didn’t know it was you. LOL. Yeah, we should hang.”

  10. Matt Says:

Happy Bloggiversary. I just chanced to discover some drama involving you (well, you were mentioned) and another blog through backlog of my comments. Anyway I hope the hiatus has nothing to do with the crap. Good luck.

Steve says, “Since I’m not privy to the situation you’re referring, I can’t say if it’s related.”

  11. Northwest Says:

Just got to know you and gone so soon. Darn! I wish you the best, and please look me up should you come back to Seattle for a visit! (I certainly will next time we are in DC-Balto.)

PS: Saw John Waters last night at SIFF. He was fab…

Steve says, “I used to love going to the Film Festival. The Fringe Festival was always fun too.”
