Madonna’s 50? Wow!

Lance wrote a post over on Queer Deviations.  It’s all about the honoring of Madonna’s birthday.  Had I not read his entry, I would’ve been clueless.  I just don’t watch enough television (or read the blurbs which show up on my MSN home page).  But, knowing all of this put me in the mood to listen to her tunes.  I started with “Holiday” and worked my way up to “4 Minutes.”  Honestly, it’s difficult to believe her transformation (over the years).  Anyhow, I thought I’d list my favorite songs:

Borderline - Live to Tell - Like a Prayer - Justify my Love

Secret - Ray of Light - I Deserve it - Hung Up

Other Stuff about the 80’s

I like that madonna. She is always reinventing herself. I don’t like her enough, however, to pay 300 bucks to see her. Shheeesh!

Steve says, “Can’t ya just get Indigo to reincarnate as a sugar daddy?” Just Playing….

  2. I used to be a bigger fan than I am these days but yes, definitely “Borderline” which I have on my “It’s a Sunshine Day!” cd that I made. I would also add “Burning Up” to that list.

Steve says, “I don’t remember that “Sunshine Day” cd. That must’ve been before I started stalking reading you? What a cool idea, though.”

she has changed over the decades, definitely. i think most radically in the last 5 years though. it’s nice that she needs less attention. that translates to happiness.

i loved holiday, papa don’t preach, and most of bedtime stories.

michael jackson turns 50 as well this month and sadly is not on the public radar. i only hope that he can find happiness, too.

    hope you LOVED your vacay…

Steve says, “I didn’t know he was gonna be 50. Vacay was a blast. Truth be told, I’m exhausted. Return to NYC 4 work on Monday, and haven’t acclimated to my time zone, yet. But, I can handle it…...”

Thanks for the Hat Tip. MMmmmWOH!!

LP-PH was right. Burnin’ up was quinticential Maddona. Back when we would of accepted her any way we could get her.

Falling into the NYC mode is simple. Perform your work and head home. Stay off Christopher Street and clear of the EAGLE. (smile)

Steve says, “I go to the NYC Eagle, regularly (when I’m in NYC, and not exhausted from work).”

Thank God someone else sees it too. All that Pilates has a nasty effect along with the good. Ewww!

    Steve says, “I didn’t notice.” :P
