It Started with The Big Valley ♥

lee-majors1One day, while being bored over my parents watching syndications of Big Valley, I discovered Lee Majors. I didn’t quite understand my fascination (crush) for him, because I was 4.  Eventually, I kinda forgot about Lee Majors.  Then he was back as The Six Million Dollar Man.  I loved that show!  When The Six Million Dollar Man faded out, I’d moved onto other crushes.  However, Majors did return in the early 80’s (in The Fall Guy - which I also watched).

Oh, there was an action figure made of Lee’s Six Million Dollar Man character (Steve Austin)!  When I first got the doll, one of my Sisters barked, “I can’t believe Mom bought you a doll modeled after a man who is a misogynist.”  I had no fucking idea what she was talking about, and just kept messing with the doll’s bionic parts, ignoring her.  Anyhow, Lee majors was born on 4/23/39.  He had a high profile marriage with Farrah Fawcett.  More Majors information can be found here.

By the way, his son (Lee Majors II) ain’t bad-looking, either.

Heath was hot for sure, but it was Nick that was all that! I think it was the black leather he always wore.

    ….I’m just guessing here.

Steve says, “I wouldn’t push Nick out of bed.”

LM2 – That’s a pix from 1990, what would he look like now 19 years later?

Steve says, “I had trouble finding a more recent photo.”

  3. Steven Says:

“Steve Austin…astronaut. A man barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world’s first bionic man. Better than he was before. Better. Stronger. Faster.” ;-)

The action figure had the eye you could look out of through the back of his head. And his backpack was a working AM radio. Woo-hoo!! These days the backpack would probably come with an iPod. :-D

Steve says, “The iPod would be called, iBionic.”
