Maybe these aren’t urinals, but facial apparatuses of some sort? I’m picturing a nun pulling up a chair and sticking her head inside the bowl and she gets a facial treatment from steam blown at her face? Or they’re “glorified” glory holes with someone on the other side of the wall who applies the facial creams to the face of the nun who sticks her face inside?
